Qualifications
The following are required qualification for adjunct faculty:
- Active unencumbered Florida RN license
- Minimum 18 Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) credits, completed successfully
- Minimum one year clinical experience
Preferred but not required qualifications:
- Master of Science in Nursing with appropriate specialization (preferred)
- Prior teaching experience preferred, but not required
Responsibilities
Clinical adjuncts provide hands-on, experience-based learning with pre-licensure BSN students in a hospital setting. Adjuncts are expected to commit 12 hours per week to clinical instruction. This position may entail grading on non-clinical days. Our students participate in clinicals Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or weekends.
